Hairdresser, who knew?
It's that time again. Yes, that time again. The time when a certain little white "rat" gets a haircut. Yup, there I said it.
The end result looks great (except that one little tiny bald spot, but shhh!). She was actually well behaved, so kudos to you Sassy. The best part was when I gathered up all the cut off hair. It was a huge furball, maybe a little larger than a grapefruit or close to the size of a cantalope. lol. I didn't think she had that much hair.
Actually it took me three layers to get her to the proper length. Mind you I didn't even change the thickness of the blade, that's just how much hair the little hooligan had. The hairball though was still hiliarious.
Mental note though, two pairs of hands are definitely better than one. My neck is killing me from trying to see around her and getting her to stay put. Oh well at least it's mostly done. I still have to trim her paws tomorrow (unless I wait until my mom returns home Friday and let her do it.... nah!! I don't want the infamous chicken-legs-dog-look to return).
Next objective to bathe her. uck! Luckily I don't get to do that because of my breaking out in hives every time I bathe her. *shrug* go figure. Mind you I did break out slightly just by giving her a haircut. Other than that I'm fine with her. Straange.
OH CRAP!!! I totally forgot to tape 'drop dead fred.' I can't believe I just remembered it was on. I even made a little note to myself to remember to tape that. UGH! Maybe it's on again ? nah... *grumble, grumble* I loved that movie when I was younger. I remember the first time I saw it my old best friend had brought it over. We must have been about 9 or 10 when it came out. We just thought it was the most funniest thing we'd ever seen. We used to love watching movies. Every sleep over we had, we were always watching movies. She had tons of movies. Her dad was able to get free movies all the time, earlier than their release date on top of that. So it was always awesome going over there and watching movies or even her bringing over some movies for sleepovers. God those were fun times.
I can't believe how long ago that was though. Man, we just loved that movie though. That was probably one of our favorite movies to watch over the years. Even though there is no friendship there any more, that movie always reminds me of that friendship. So funny how life is that way sometimes. Those were fun times though. But gosh, now I'm mad. I really wanted to watch that movie. It's so stupid now, it's funny.
Funny how as kids you view certain movies as if there is nothing wrong with them and how could any one deem them not funny, when you're convinced there will never be a movie greater than this one. Then years later, and we're talking many years later, you're still trying to figure out, how you ever thought that movie was good. Or even if you still like it, you can't explain why and you just know it's a guilty pleasure. Those moments are priceless.
Oh well, que sera, sera!
