what a day, and not the good kind

well i'm exhausted and I didn't even do all that much. I accompanied my mom to the pre-op clinic for her upcoming surgery (2 hours there). I swear people thought I was some sort of wall-fixture. Strange people. Oh well, at least it got done. Of course I don't remember my pre-op clinic ever taking that long. But that's another issue. I spent most of the afternoon making more grape jelly. Then I got called to come and babysit my cousin because of a family emergency. An hour in the car in this crappy weather. Not fun, but it was for family and I'd do anything for them.

Now I'm just burned out. Emotionally and physically. It's been a rollercoaster all day. Tomorrow can only be better right? I hope so for everyone.
