I can't even remember my last actual post...scary
What a crazy week it's been.
Getting Kali, being sick, keep being sent to another clinic. It's been nuts, I tell you nuts. All this and I'm extremely sleep deprived, alive, but sleep deprived.
Little Kali, the apple of my eye and the pain in my rump. Evil, yet angelic, isn't that always the way. She funny though. Attacks Sassy, keeps me up at night (more now than when we first brough her home), and finally has decided she's beyond gravity. Yes you heard me, she likes to defy gravity. Crazy poodle puppy.
Job been going good though....for now. A little pissed off on Friday. See Friday was my favorite day, payday!! Woo hoo!! Or so I thought...Seems my time sheet was never sent in friday. Grr. Plus St. B. never paid me for my christmas eve shift last week. I was very mad that day. Any hoo, so I got both of those corrected and I was told my clinic job paycheck would be coming by mail to me this week. Well my paycheck arrived today, just one little problem with it. It's in Thunderbay, and obviously I'm not. Crazy Ontario company sent it to Thunder Bay, no reason either, crazy crazy crazy. Now I have to wait a few more days. My compay is crazzzzzzzzy!!!
Good news about the job is they've FINALLY hired some one for Transcona. Phew! No more going back and forth or anything. Of course now, I'm totally comfortable with being there and it's so much closer but oh well, no biggie. Only 3 more weeks of this insanity though. YAY!!!
Finally got around to seeing Lemony Snicket's Series of Unforunate Events. I enjoyed the movie, but was rather perplexed at why they added a completely new subplot. As usual, it wasn't all that close to the books, but for the most part it was, but in a rushed way and changed around certain events to better suit their new subplot. I still enjoyed it though. Sunny was definitely better in the movie than in the book. In the book it's a little harder to imagine or follow without skipping the "'blah blah blah' which probably really meant something more like this 'bladida."" Jim Carey was really good in it though. Enjoyable.
Any hoos I must set up the VCR for ALIAS tonight (whoot!) here's hoping it picks up a bit (pllllleeeeeeeeeeease!!!!).Bill Haverchuck: If I were Bionic Woman, what would I wear? ..
