The girl sitting in the corner with the dunce cap
Wow it sure has been a while since I posted here but I have my reasons. First of all AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH [this is the sound of me pulling out my hair in frustration]. Phew, enough of that. I feel better now.
So let's talk about last post's subject of cliques and how they suck. Let's see I used to have a carpool but then I was sort of rejected because I was too much of a hassle to take home, but I should continue to get rides to school and pay $9 a week for the 3 rides a week. Does that make sense to you the general public? I think not! Just pisses me off. Two weeks of this bull funky, and I've had it up to here *draws a line way way above her head* ugh! Then of course all the back talking, like I don't know what going on seesh. Some people out there, anything to just make themselves look and feel better. But at what cost I ask you, what cost??!?! Ok I digress. Still since all this shite has gone down, the little twosome clique formed and somehow I'm the enemy go figure. Clique just suck! They always have and always will, I will stick by that! GRRR! Whatever school is not social it's so I can make millions of dollars and marry a rich sucessful doctor/surgeon (lol just kidding, although that would definitely be a perk of the education) *grin* But I digress... really I do.
Ok so what have I been up to lately? Other than being an emotional mess, studying for my test from today. I've decided that I need informative layouts. What percentage this course is represented on the test, so on and so forth. It's horrible when anything goes because you're bound to study more one area more than another and of course the area you didn't focus on so much is a larger part of the test. Grr. Ironic, don't you think? So yeah, not enough studying, but I still think I did good, so yay. Maybe I can relinguish (sp?) my title of the girl in the corner with the dunce cap, well just for now anyways.
So update on the japanese student exchange. It's a hoot. Our student is so cute. I call him the "good son" in comparasion to my brother (obviously he's the bad son). So polite, respectful and everything, really makes you see how manners have gone by the way side in North America. It's a shame actually. I find it really funny when during dinner my dad always (without a doubt) asks the student a question while he's eating. I find it just hiliarious. But it's so much fun. But one thing I have yet to understand or figure out is the student's fixation with Disney movies. Our student watches on average two a day (I'm sure he's almost done our collection), it's really cute actually. Oh and today we took him and another student to a oriental market in the city and oh my god was that a hoot. Both of them were in a sort of heaven. They just lightened up and everything. I think we spent almost an hour in this little store. But it had imported food from Japan so it was great for them. So far knock on wood this experience has been great. Especially in comparasion to the last student we hosted 4 years ago *shudder* that was awful.
hmm what else, oh yay I finally finished updating my other website. I am so proud of myself. I've been working on that for quite a few months, but I'm happy to say the two layouts are great and Boducky's stories were a great addition. Now if only I could add a few more pieces of work, I'd really be pleased. Oh and I'm so excited my mom bought my Alias the first season. I was just so excited last night when I found it. Of course I had all night to watch it, but I didn't, go figure. There's always tomorrow!
Ok one more rant for the day. Know what really sucks? Arriving for your test and having to really hurry because there were so many traffic hold ups to learn that the test has been posponed for a few hours because half the test is missing in action. That was lovely. Got to love the organization of that. I didnt' have any notes to study because silly me didn't think I'd need them, when infact I had a few hours to study before the test. Grr. That was frustating. Just added more to pulling out of my hair. I'm telling you if all this shite continues I'll be bald by the time I'm 22.
So that ends this rant for the day. Now it's off to watch Angel season 1 (yay space). Later days!
{current mood} Just glad the test is over with but wish I weren't the gum on the bottom of the shoe
{currently reading} Nothing (thank goodness, I've had enough reading for a few days)
{currently watching} Well I'm going to watch Angel, but the japanese student is watching Cinderella so I guess I'm watching Cinderella.
{currently listening} Cinderella, weren't u paying attention?
