People are strange
I love making people think they're crazy. It's fun. Let me tell you how and why.
Way way way back in time, I (as a joke) chose a funny e-mail (not saying it because I'll get more annoyances). At that time I did not think it was available but alas I was wrong and I know own it (well not "own" but hold it as mine). This was all long time, before msn messenger ever existed. I think this was in 1997, but not sure.
Past few years, I've occasionally checked the e-mail there. It's never of any importance because I only maintain it to be evil. Msn becomes available and craziness ensues. I'm always being added to peoples msn and stuff. I just don't add them to my list and carry on.
A few years ago, I was really evil and was able to cancel/modify/et cetera people's accounts for little things. I'm sure it drove them nuts, but they were dumb enough to put a fake e-mail account because they were "sticking-it-to-the-man" by not giving their real e-mail address. I didn't do it often, just once or twice. But it was fun. I'm sure those people couldn't understand why it was happening but oh well.
Every once and a while I go on msn with this account. Boy oh boy are people crazy. I always get "who the hell is this" or some form of that questions. Some times there is friendliness and others not even close to it. I always tell them the same thing, "I though you knew, seeing how it was you who added me. See, I don't ever add any one to this account." They take it as is and carry on with their business or they go insane.
Some people think I'm a friend/acquaintance who is "messing" with their mind. It's simple to see, and can be funny at times. Today for example, just after I logged on, I got a "who are you" message. To which I respond with my normal answer. This particular person, wasn't satisfied with that. Him/her was convinced I was some friend of theirs messing with their mind. I kept saying I don't know you and whatever. They proceeded to threaten me, that if they knew me and I was lying they'd know. Then a few minutes later it's "you're so-and-so, right?" To which I say no. They say I know it's u. So fine, I just go "ok fine, you win, you caught me, good show." By this time the person has no clue if this is really someone they know pretending not to know them, or an actual stranger. It's funnier than hell though. It's funnier to actually see though. I've been accused of many things with this e-mail address, some scary some hiliarious. It just goes to show you how some people are a little too nervous about things.
