In for a wild night...
...thanks to the world of mother nature and her need to let it all out. Just now it has started to pour out there. Extremely loud thunder now accompanies the lightening that has been going on for the past two hours. Here's hoping the power doesn't go out. Luckily enough I have this lap top, but for how long if the power goes in and out, like every other rain storm.
Not much going on. Just my normal daily business. Kali nuts, people are crazy and catching up on Smallville (damn you James Marsters).
See me and Smallville have always had this sort of hate relationship. This was the show that replaced my 'Roswell.' Very similar premise. Both dark hair, he's from another planet and she's the girl-next-door. I avoided it but eventually watched a bit but finally was able to get past it, partly because the channel I was watching it on was completely unreliable and I never knew went to find it.
With the word that James Marsters was joining the show, I figured I might as well get caught up. My brother does own all the seasons available on DVD, so no loss there. Just very very time consuming. Of course this previous season (or rather the season that just completely this past May), I've seen bits and pieces so it's all feeling a tad too much deja-vu. No biggie.
I love the rain. Yes, I feel like repeating that. There is something about the rain that always gets to me. Very soothing, the best way to fall asleep is listening to the rain. The best is running in the rain, but it's not exactly the warmest weather to be outside in the rain. The only downfall is that my dog believes thunder is the enemy. She like to bark at it. She's starting to really prove she's nuts.
As it is, my baby is nuts. She has decided to bark at cats who apparently like to sit on own back fence and little kids. She's extremely nuts. Speaking of cats, my brother and I saw the most hiliarious thing today. We were in the car and behind a car that had their cat with them. Sure nothing funny about that, but the spot where the cat was sitting was mildy amusing. The cat was actually sitting on the top of the driver's seat. To me I'd think that would be a hazard but hey it looked hiliarious. My brother now feels Kali should be taught to do that. I could just see it now. The front page of the paper "Woman dies as a result of dog sitting on head rest."
No agenda party tonight :( Carla apparently believes her "family" is more important. hehe. But we're still hoping for tomorrow night as the new night, but only time will tell.
Actually I'm really excited about something. Sugar Mountain is going to be carrying the infamous Pic-a-pop. Woot! I used to love that stuff. Of course it's going to cost an arm and a leg, but regardless it's coming back. Even more reason to get to the actual Sugar Mountain location. YAY!!! I swear if I get there I'm bound to pay lots and lots of money for some good ol' sugar. Yummy yummy!!!!
Plus only two weeks until Veronica Mars. YAY!!! Double yay that Joss Whedon is going to appear on VM. How cool is that? All these awesome people coming out and saying how cool VM is, it's fantabulous. The only problem is that VM is on at the same time as LOST. Now that SUCKS!!
Of course, it's a no brainer for me. I'd rather watch VM than Lost, but still, it's sucky. So excited though. Not as excited for ALIAS though. Stupid stupid writers, etc.. GRRR. I watched the season premiere of 'Gilmore Girls' and I thought it was ok. I knew what Luke was going to say to Lorelai, it was only obvious.
Ah well, I digress...
Well my homies it's time for me check out for the night. Later days...
