Standards and me ... no likey

I was dragged out to learn how to drive standard tonight. My brother took me out to learn, and quite frankly I'd rather take the bus. Ok I'm ok driving, it's the actual shifting out of first I seem to have issues with. That and stop signs, none of the important stuff though lol.

Didn't get to make jelly tonight though :( Grapes sort of fermented up a little too quickly so we have to get new ones. So that's tomorrow night, plus we're clean sweeping the junk we have, 'cause we're running out of room in the house. Small house, 4 people, 1 dog and tons of crap, not a good idea. It will be hard getting rid of some of it though. We have tons of Barbie's, Ninja turtle dolls, all of our fisher price 'little people' (hoping to keep the fisher price stuff for my eventual kids, but it will depend). There is junk we can get rid of though. Just the other day I found extra blinds from a set of blinds we don't even own any more, can't see them being of much use now. Mostly we have lots of clothes, I think once that goes, we'll have more room. And books. We have WAY too many of those harlequin romance books and I'm sure there are books I liked as a kid (which I still don't want to get rid of, but I might now have much choice).

Oh well I digress...

Time to find something constructive to do. Not to mention getting the smell of fermented grapes out of my head, yuck!
