Shiny new blog
As you can see, I revamped my blog. It needed change. So there we go!
In other news, thank god it's Saturday. I'm sleep deprived and stressed out. This past week has been hell. Running errands for other people and then being treated like crap at times at school. It was fine last night though, but sometimes techs believe they can make the student do the crappy parts because they don't want to. Whatever, I won't be a student in 2 weeks, yay!
My classes hoodies/shirts finally arrived. Bad news, many unhappy techs, rightly so. Turns out "radiology" text is one inch in height and about 2-3 inches in length. Then due to the material some of them are extremely crooked. Such a mess. People want their money back, it's not good. I don't blame them though. Hello?! We sold them these products, we should fix it or refund their money. Why should they keep something they'll never use. They were not cheap either. But that's another issue with my class. These people are driving me nuts. Luckily, I didn't have to deal with any of them yesterday because of my evening rotation. The cartoon character looks fine though, so at least that's good. Seesh.
Saturday night and I have yet to really get a lot of studying done. Too busy during the day and night to study. Even my breaks at the hospital were busy. I've actually never seen it that busy yet. Maybe during the day, but that's different because there are a handful techs, during the evenings there are typically only 3 (and usually a student or extra tech). For 3 evenings straight it was just really busy. Portable, emergency, operating room, ward patients they were all in high demand. Good news though, I've officially completed my log book. I completed my last facial bones requirement. YAY! I actually did some really excellent pictures for those ones. No help or anything. They come so rarely as it is. Actually there was even more rarity to it. We had to do zygomatic arch x-rays. This consists of very uncomfortable positions for the patient to try and isolate your cheek bone from any superimposition of other facial bones. Never seen them yet, so that was good practice (mind u, I observed that part). That was the highlight of my rotation, that and crazy Dave's humour. Could have been a long week without his bizarre humour.
