Gov't checks rule!

Yay I got my GST check today, yippee!! (remember it's the small things that amuse me.)

Then I had a guest who came over and dropped off a card for grad, I just never realized how many people were proud of this accomplishment. My mom even ran into some old neighbours and they were asking about me and if I had finished. It's just amazing sometimes how you affect people lives so much that years later they still wonder how you are and such. Sometimes it's just easy to forget people can be genuinely nice and actually care about you. Ok now I'm all mushy, but it still surprises me every day.

Well I survived my shift on Saturday. It was actually a nice day. It was steady but in a good way. Barely any moments of waiting for work, which makes the day go by nicely. Before I knew it, it was 3:30 and time to go home. Shifts like that are always nice.

I finally got around to watching 'Lost' the premiere. It was ok, I don't think it knocked my socks off or anything. Maybe I just expected more, but I still did find it intriguing. I'll continue to watch it though. TV sucks so much these past few years that I'm lucky I find any show that catches my attention long enough to get interested. I think 'lost' is the only new show of this season, I'm watching. Many of them were just let-downs.

Roswell dvds tomorrow though, yay!! Not sure if I'll buy them or wait until Christmas. I still haven't finished watching Alias s3 though. But I'm at a good episode, the one with Vaughn and Sark in the same scene. I imagine this is what heaven would be like *wink, wink*

Oh well, I'm off to still finish cleaning up the rec-room. The madness will never end!!!
