"i get no respect"

Sadly Rodney Dangerfield has passed away. The man who [gets no respect] finally has from all his collegues. He will be sadly missed for his comedic lines and self.

I remember reading a few months ago that he was having surgery, and realized at that point he was no spring chicken, but I still wished him good luck. I later found out the surgery had caused a stroke, further resulting in a coma state. It's just sad. I didn't know him personally or anything, it's just realistic to see after working in a hospital. Very sad thing. Looking at all the procedures he had done, he's actually made it longer than he could have. At his age, surgery is a huge deal. Heart surgery, brain surgery and abdominal aortic surgery is alot of stress on a body. Luckily he came out of his coma briefly last week before passing on.

Just thinking back to all the movies I'd seen with him always cracked me up. Ladybugs is probably the best movie I can remember. I loved that movie. I couldn't get enough of it back then. I still watch it, if it's on tv now, although it's more of a laugh to see the clothes and such than the actual movie. Caddyshack is another great movie. That was a staple from my early childhood, albeit more for the dancing gopher than anything.
